MANNING - Edisto opened the season with a 55-43 loss at Manning on Wednesday night.

Israel Brwon led Manning with 13 points, while Jayquan Pendergrass added 8 points and De'Jaun Wilson added 7 points for the Monarchs (2-0).

The Cougars (0-1) were led by Jacobe Perry with 14 points, Ra'quan Ryant with 11 points, Jae'quan Ryant with 10 points.

Edisto will play host to Hunter-Kinard-Tyler on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Williamsburg Academy 35

SUMMERTON - Clarendon Hall took a home win against Williamsburg on Tuesday, as the Saints were led by Zyan Gilmore with 33 points and 8 rebounds.

Tyrese Mitchum had 22 points and Kylic Horton had 13. Dylan Way led the way on the boards with 9 rebounds.

The Saints (1-1) will travel to St. Johns on Tuesday.

MANNING - Edisto opened the season with a 64-34 loss at Manning on Wednesday night.

Geneva Bovain led the Lady Cougars with 16 points, including four made 3-pointers in the opening half of play.

The Lady Monarchs (1-1) were led by a game-high 22 points from Measha Jones, along with 10 points from Jazlynn Hilton.

Edisto (0-1), which only trailed 25-24 at the half, will play next on Friday at home against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 6 p.m.

Felton was led by Stephanie Brailey with 15 points, Trinity Winningham with 5 points, Brezie Holiday with 4 points and Journi Hillard with 4 points.

Felton (1-0) will play next on Wednesday at North Middle School.

Howard droped to 0-2 this season with Wednesday's loss to Clark.

Clark was led by N. Patrick with 9 points, while Kyasia Washington led Howard with 4 points.

H-K-T took a 45-37 win against Felton Lab on Wednesday, getting 13 points apiece from L. Gilmore and Z. Gleaton, while M. Workman added 10 points.
