H-K-T is 2-4 overall and 2-0 in region play. They host Denmark-Olar Tuesday.

Shalayasi Myers had 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals, Khaleelah Milledge 1 had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocked shots, 1 steal, while Shontayja Smalls, 10 had points, 20 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal.

The Lake Marion girls overcame Bethune-Bowman 57-43 on Friday to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Lake Marion plays Monday at Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6 p.m.

Antwanique Walley had 20 points to lead Lake Marion.

HOLLY HILL - Lydia Hoffstetter led Dorchester with 21 points in a road win on Friday night, while Elizabeth Huff added 12 points.

For Holly Hill, Tara Bilton had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Sarah Becker had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals and a block.

DA is 3-4 overall, 2-0 in region play, and will play next in the Orangeburg Prep Christmas Tournament, Dec. 28-30.

HHA is 1-6 overall, 1-1 in region play, and will play next on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. against Newberry Academy at the Richard Winn Christmas Tournament.

Jaewon Jefferson made a jumper from 15 feet with 1 second remaining to lift Lake Marion to a 55-53 win at Bethune-Bowman.

Lake Marion, 4-4, is back in action on Monday, traveling to Orangeburg-Wilkinson,

Leading Lake Marion was Gershon Robinson with 14 points, Jaewon Jefferson with 11 points and Trajan Green with 11 points.

The tight contest featured 14 lead changes and 10 ties.

The Mohawks were led by Roderick Pam with 23 points, Javier King with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Raekwon Richburg with 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Bethune Bowman is back in action on Saturday hosting Orangeburg-Wilkinson. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.

WILLISTON - Williston-Elko got 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocked shots and 2 steals from Desmond Murray to edge out the Trojans (4-2) on Friday night in Region 3A play.

Keshawn Toney added 14 points, 12 rebounds, a steal, a blocked shot and 3 assists for the victors.

H-K-T hosts Denmark-Olar on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Lake Marion's JV boys team took a 41-38 victory over Bethune-Bowman on Friday to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The Lake Marion JV squad does not return to the hardwood until next year, playing Jan. 5, 2018, vs. Bishop England.

Leading Lake Marion on the court were Jamerius Benjamin, Maliek Fuller and Tyrine Mazyck with 13 points each, while Benjamin had 10 assists, Fuller had 10 rebounds and Mazyck and 13 rebounds.

HOLLY HILL - Noah Byron and Wyatt Judy both had 8 points to lead the DA Raiders in a win on Friday.

DA will play next in the Orangeburg Prep Christmas Tournament, Dec. 28-30.

Abigail Holmes had 4 points and 8 rebounds, while Abigail Weathers added 3 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. DA is now 2-4 and will play next in the Orangeburg Prep Christmas Tournament.

HHA (0-6 overall, 0-2 in region) was led by Leigh Anna Johnson with 14 points.

matmen win duals

NORTH AUGUSTA -- The top-ranked Bamberg-Ehrhardt wrestling team swept the duals matches Friday at Rumble On The River.

Listed at No. 1 by SCMats in 1A-2A, the Red Raider grapplers defeated Abbeville 60-15, South Aiken 59-15, Colleton County 70-5, West Ashley 48-21 and blanked Garrett 73-0.

Individual competition begins at 9 a.m. Saturday.
