LEXINGTON - Fox Creek took a 10-6 win over Calhoun County on Friday in the Red Bank Invitational at White Knoll High School.
Leading hitters for the Saints were Simien Chestnut 3 for 4, run and an RBI, Andrew Isgett 2 for 4, run, Alex Tapia 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI, Daniel Williams 1 for 4, a double and an RBI, Chase Elders 1 for 4, a double and an RBI and Justin Black 1 for 1, with an RBI.
Noah Bearden pitched six innings for CC, allowing just five hits against six strikeouts and four earned runs.
The Saints will play again in the tournament on Saturday against Chapin at 7:30 p.m.

Leading hitters for Calhoun Academy were Caleb Crosby, 3 for 5, three runs and three RBI, Connor Brinson, 2 for 3 and three runs, Bates Felder, 1 for 3, Evan Inabinet, 3 for 4 and three RBI, Matt Layton, 3 for 4, one run and four RBI, Dylan Spires, 2 for 5 and an RBI and Wells Fleming, 3 for 5, one run.
Crosby (2-0) picked up the win with 4-and-2-third innings of work, collecting nine strikeouts and allowing just five hits. Seth Tyson pitched 2-and-1-third innings in relief, allowing two hits while striking out four.
CA (4-0, 1-0) will travel to Williamsburg Academy to play on Tuesday.
