BATESBURG-LEESVILLE -- W.W. King took a 50-44 win over Calhoun Academy on Friday.
Caleb Crosby led the way for the Cavs on the ground with 29 carries for 329 yards with four touchdowns. Crosby was also 10 for 16 passing with 120 passing yards and two touchdowns, Crosby also added three two-point conversions, Matt Layton had four receptions and one touchdown, Chandler Williams had two receptions, one touchdown and a two-point conversion.
Weston Davis led the Cavs' defense with 12 tackles, Crosby and Layton each had 11 tackles, Seth Tyson had 10 tackles also and Tyson and Williams each recovered onside kicks for the Cavs.
CA (1-2) will travel to Coastal Christian next week at 7:30 p.m.

Laurens Academy 18
EHRHARDT -- Andrew Jackson Academy defeated Laurens Academy 44-18 on Friday.
AJA was led by Bailey Ackerman with 19 carries for 210 yards and three touchdowns, Jordan Lee with 11 carries for 136 yards and two touchdowns, Colyn Peek with six carries for 77 yards and 1-2 passing with 47 yards and a touchdown and Conner Cleaton with 47 yards receiving and one touchdown.
On defense, Jordan Lee, Banks Wallace and Greyson Carter each had five tackles with a sack, Drake Mathis had four tackles, Gleaton had three tackles and an interception and Ackerman had three tackles.
AJA (2-0) will host Holly Hill Academy next week at 7:30 p.m.
Calhoun County 42
ST.MATTHEWS -- Calhoun County got their first victory of the season over Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 42-36 on Friday.
H-K-T dropped a Hail Mary pass in the end zone with no time remaining.
In his first varsity start at quarterback, Andrew Isgett went 20 for 30 passing for 318 yards and five touchdowns through the air, along with 53 rushing yards and a touchdown for Calhoun County. Also for the Saints' offense, Willie Brown had two receiving touchdowns with 84 yards receiving and Raquarious Greene had three receiving touchdowns.
Brown had one interception for the Saints on defense.
The Trojans' Brian Youmans took a 62-yard interception in for a touchdown, Youmans also came up with a late-fourth quarter touchdown pass.
Devante Scott had two interceptions for H-K-T along with two touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown. Scott went 8-for-14 passing for 240 yards. Jarqwese Clemons caught a 64-yard pass from Scott and Anquan Edwards recovered a fumble and recorded a sack on defense.
C-C (1-2) will travel to Dreher on Friday, Sept. 15 to play at 7:30 p.m.
H-K-T (0-3) will host Wagener-Salley on Friday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

NORTH -- C.A. Johnson defeated North 28-8 on Friday.
The Eagles (0-3) will host Ridge Spring-Monetta next week at 7:30 p.m.
WAGENER -- Wagener-Salley shut out Bethune-Bowman 22-0 on Friday.
The Mohawks (3-1) will travel to C.A. Johnson next week at 7:30 p.m.
Holly Hill Aca. defeats
Holly Hill Academy defeated Dorchester Academy 3-1, with match scores of 25-19, 25-20, 19-25 and 25-21.
The Lady Raiders were led by Tara Bilton with 13 kills, four aces, one assist and 31 receptions. Katie Rohl added seven kills, seven aces and 21 receptions and Leah Evans added eight kills and six blocks.
HHA (5-1, 3-0) will host Andrew Jackson Academy on Thursday.
Wilson Hall shuts
out Orangeburg Prep
Wilson Hall took a 22-0 win over Orangeburg Prep on Thursday.
Forrest Sutcliffe led the offense for the Indians, completing five passes for 48 yards and 25 yards rushing. Blake Croft added 30 yards rushing.
On defense, Sutcliffe also had five tackles and Ethan Williams had an interception.
The Indians (0-1) will travel to Laurence Manning on Thursday.
