The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (13-2 record) remained unbeaten in the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament by taking a 67-40 victory over Manning in the late game Thursday.

Christian Joseph led the Bruins with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jordan Snell added 17 points, and Yohannes Utsey added 4 points and 8 rebounds.

O-W will play host to Colleton County (10-3 record) on Friday at 8 p.m. in the tournament title game.

De'Iajae Ferguson scored 22 points to lead Colleton County to a win against Kingstree on Thursday at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in the semifinals of the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

Tristian Nieves added 15 points for the Cougars (10-3 record), while Nyeem Green added 12 points.

Quinton Alston scored 24 points for the Jaguars (10-2 record), while N'Chez Alston added 12 points.

Colleton County will play on Friday at O-W at 8 p.m. in the tournament championship game.

Kingstree plays Manning at O-W on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the 3rd-place game.

Edisto took a 62-46 win against Lake Marion on Thursday in the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament at Orangeburg-Wilkinson.

Leading scorers for Lake Marion were Jaewon Jefferson with 17, Gervaris Wearing with 11 points and Traveon Davis with 9.

Lake Marion (5-6 record) plays host to Hanahan on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Edisto (6-6 record) plays next on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at home against winless Allendale-Fairfax.

Calhoun County def. Metrolina Christian Academy

The Saints took a win in the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School on Thursday against the Warriors of Metrolina Christian Academy (N.C.).

Calhoun County will play again on Friday at Orangeburg-Wilkinson in the 5th-place game against Fort Dorchester at 5 p.m.

Allendale-Fairfax 55 OT

Having lost an overtime game at Lake Marion against Lake Marion on Wednesday night, the Swansea Tigers rebounded with a morning overtime win against winless Allendale-Fairfax on Thursday at Orangeburg-Wilkinson in the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

It was the final game of the tournament for both teams.

Effix Miller led Swansea (7-6 record) with 23 points, while Keenan Coats added 11 points.

Allendale-Fairfax (0-7 record) was led by Lonzado Badger with 13 points.

The Patriots took a win against the Mohawks at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School on Thursday in the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

Hanahan took a win against the Trojans on Thursday in each team's final game of the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.

Hanahan was led by Nick McKnight's 12 points.

H-K-T was led by Marlow Gilmore's 20 points.

The Trojans will play next at Wagener-Salley on Friday, Jan. 5 in a Region 3-A contest.

Wade Hampton took a win against Cross Creek on Thursday in each team's final game of the Orangeburg County Sweet Sixteen Tournament at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.

CHARLESTON - The Orangeburg-Wilkinson varsity girls captured a 49-46 victory Thursday over P. Wingate Andrews High from High Point, N.C., in the Carolina Invitational in Charleston, being played at Cane Bay High.

O-W, now 8-1 on the season, plays on Friday against Berkeley.

The Bruinettes were led by D'Mya Tucker with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Tucker is currently ranked in the Top 50 in the Nation in ESPN top recruits for the class of 2020. Brandi Rivers had 11 points and nine rebounds for O-W.
