Holly Hill-Roberts 52, Elloree 22

HOLLY HILL - The Gators were led by Keyshawn Aiken with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Devondre Robinson provided 14 points, five assists and seven rebounds as Jaquez Daniels and D’Ontre Gilliard each scored 10 points.

Holly Hill-Roberts (7-0) will host Howard Middle today.

GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL

Orangeburg Prep 19, Cardinal Newman 13

COLUMBIA - Leading scorers for OPS were Nicole Ayer with six points while Logan Teague and Brooke Nettles added four points each.

The Lady Indians (4-1) travel to Heathwood today at 5 p.m.

OPS boys finish second in first match of 2013

SUMTER – The OPS boys opened 2013 with a second place finish at Gamecock Lanes.

Hilton Head won the boys division with a total of 433 in a field of 13 teams. Orangeburg Prep’s first team finished second with a total of 373. Orangeburg Prep’s second team finished 10th with a total of 283.

Cardinal Newman was the top girls team with a score of 339 in a field of eight teams. Orangeburg Prep’s girls team finished seventh with a score of 265.

Orangeburg Prep will return to action on January 16 at Gamecock Lanes in Sumter at 5 p.m
