Orangeburg-Wilkinson 48, Hanahan 34

HANAHAN - Nabresha Hughes scored 19 points, Zaria Snipes dished out 11 assists and Dejoria Howard added seven points and six rebounds as top-ranked Orangeburg-Wilkinson remained undefeated in Region 8-AAA Friday.

The Bruinettes (19-1, 6-0) travel to Stall Tuesday.

Denmark-Olar 47, Estill 41

ESTILL - Ta’Asia Wright scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Daniesha Youmans had 15 for the fifth-ranked Lady Vikings Friday.

D-O (14-3, 6-1) travels to Bethune-Bowman Tuesday.

Orangeburg Prep 61, Laurence Manning 44

MANNING - Elizabeth Rheney scored 18 points, Julia Bonnette had 17 points and 11 steals and Cassidy Hills finished with eight points and 13 rebounds for the Lady Indians Friday.

Haley Hatfield scored 12 points for the Lady Swampcats.

OPS (16-7, 2-1) returns home Tuesday to face Wilson Hall.

Bethune-Bowman 39, Allendale-Fairfax 22

ROWESVILLE – Leading the way for Bethune-Bowman was Keyondra Simpson with 17 points.

Wykeria Jones dished out six assists while Feona Shuler and Shaniyah Bradley tallied 11 rebounds each.

Bethune-Bowman (4-10, 2-4) will host Denmark-Olar on Tuesday.

Fox Creek 43, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 33

N. AUGUSTA — Brandi Peeples led the Lady Trojans with 12 points.

Dominique Moore was the top scorer with 16 points.

H-K-T (5-8) will host North on Tuesday.

Palmetto Christian Academy 65, Holly Hill Academy 34

HOLLY HILL - Jessica Cline was the leading scorer with 12 points for the Lady Raiders Friday.

HHA (9-9, 3-4) travels to South Aiken Baptist Christian Tuesday.

Dorchester Academy 39, Calhoun Academy 26

ST. GEORGE - Julianna McAlhaney scored 12 points to lead the Lady Raiders Friday.

Dorchester Academy plays host to Palmetto Christian Academy Tuesday.

Savannah Barker scored 11 points and Melissa Cherry had seven for the Lady Cavaliers (10-6, 4-3), who play host to Thomas Sumter Academy Tuesday.

Andrew Jackson Academy 31, Patrick Henry 30

EHRHARDT - The Lady Confederates improved to 12-3 overall, 5-1 in region play Friday.

Gayle Mathias led AJA’s effort with 13 points and seven rebounds. Kasey Mixon added 11 points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Confederates travel to St. Francis Xavier Tuesday.


Hanahan 54, Orangeburg-Wilkinson 52 (OT)

HANAHAN - The Bruins had their six-game winning streak snapped Friday and suffered their first loss in Region 8-AAA play.

O-W (12-9, 5-1) travels to Stall Tuesday.

Woodland 62, Burke 55

BYRDS - Juadon Chandler scored 22 points, Sergio Smith added 19 and South Carolina State-bound Michael Wamer had 14 for the Wolverines Friday.

Woodland (15-5, 9-1) travels to Battery Creek Tuesday.

Andrew Jackson Academy 38, Patrick Henry 35

EHRHARHDT - The Confederates knocked off the Region 1-A leading Patriots Friday.

AJA (3-13, 2-5) was led by Aaron Cleland with 14 points and 14 rebounds and Matthew Avant added 13 points.

The Confederates travel to Sumter Tuesday to take on region foe St Francis Xavier at 6 p.m.

Dorchester Academy 52, Calhoun Academy 49

Calhoun Academy was led by Jesse Reeves who scored 17 points and Jackson Flemings who had 10 points. The loss to Dorchester put Calhoun Academy’s record at 8-8. Calhoun faces Thomas Sumter Hall at home this Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Laurence Manning 59, Orangeburg Prep 53

MANNING - Davanian Murray had 14 points to lead OPS as Paul Trimmier and Kyle stokes each added 12 points.

The Indians fall to 14-9 overall and 1-2 in region play. They will take on Wilson Hall at home on Tuesday.


Orangeburg Prep 48, Laurence Manning 26

MANNING - Victoria Williams matched the entire scoring total of the JV Lady Swampcats to go with five steals and Angelica Igelesias had 10 points for the JV Lady Indians Friday.

OPS (13-1, 2-1) returns home Tuesday to face Wilson Hall at 4 p.m.

Holly Hill Academy 27, Palmetto Christian 26

HOLLY HILL - Santana Snell scored eight points for the JV Lady Raiders (12-3, 5-2) Friday.

Calhoun Academy 15, Dorchester Academy 14

ST. GEORGE - Caitlynn Way scored six points and Joesy Ott added five for the JV Lady Cavaliers Friday.

Calhoun Academy improved to 12-2 overall, 6-1 in the region.

Patrick Henry 37, Andrew Jackson Academy 24

EHRHARDT - The JV Lady Confederates fell to 4-6 overall, 0-6 in region play Friday.

Caitlin McCallister led AJA with 13 points and six steals and Jordan Barnes added seven points.

AJA will play host to Clarendon Hall at 4 p.m. Friday.


Palmetto Christian Academy 35, Holly Hill Academy 18

HOLLY HILL - The JV Raiders dropped to 4-11 overall, 0-7 in region play Friday.

Patrick Henry 47, Andrew Jackson 36

EHRHARDT - The JV Confederates fell to 2-8 overall, 1-5 in region play Friday.

Hunter Waltz led AJA with 10 points and 15 rebounds and Joseph Stanfield added eight points and six rebounds.

Calhoun Academy 36, Dorchester Academy 32

Calhoun Academy was led by Cooper McGee and Maxwell Moore, both with 12 points. Calhoun’s record is now 11-3. Calhoun faces Thomas Sumter Hall at home this Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Laurence Manning 35, Orangeburg Prep 26

MANNING — JJ Union had seven points and nine rebounds in the loss while Chris brown had seven points.

OPS (5-11, 0-3) will host Wilson Hall on Tuesday.

Lake Marion 65, Lake City 54 (Thursday)

Jermariez Green paced the Gators with with 21 points, nine rebounds, five steals and two assists.

Michael Rhodes had 13 points, 12 rebounds and a steal. Jeremy Fludd recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, two steals and three assists. Jabarus Saxon ended the night with 11 points, five rebounds, four steals and six assists.

Lake Marion hosts Lee Central on Monday.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 57, Hanahan 14 (Thursday)

Micah Charles and David Quick led the way with eight points in the win for the Bruins.

Isaiah Felder chipped in with seven points while Rashad Williams added five points.
