The Bruins picked up their first win behind 16 points from Tashombe Riley and 11 from Messiah Rice.

Eau Claire was led by T. Simmons and W. Green with 15 each.

O-W is at home Tuesday to host Lake Marion.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 89, Eau Claire 35

The Bruinettes ran their record to 3-0 with the win, being paced by Dejoria Howard’s 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

Assisting in the O-W victory were Kerria Mitchell, 12 points, 3 steals; Saukita Glover, 12 points, 11 rebounds; and Nebreshra Hughes, 11 points, 3 steals.

O-W is at home Tuesday to host Lake Marion.

Calhoun County 46, Bethune-Bowman 18

Keyondra Simpson had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks, Wykeria Jones had 6 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals, while Fiona Shuler had 2 points and 7 blocks for Calhoun County.

Bethune-Bowman (1-1) will play Tuesday at Baptist Hill.

JV BOYS BASKETBALL

Cross 93, Lake Marion 13

Cross rolled past Lake Marion on Saturday behind 21 ponts, 16 rebounds, 6 steals and 7 assists from Jabarus Saxon.

Walter Shaw added 15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists, while Jeremy Fludd had 10 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals and 6 assists, and RhaJames Robinson had 10 points, 18 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists.

Lake Marion is in Orangeburg Tuesday to play against Orangeburg-Wilkinson.

JV GIRLS BASKETBALL

Lake Marion 50, Cross 7

Lake Marion improved to 2-0 behind 18 points from LaQuiyin Smalls, while Jessica Blanchard add 14 and Alexis Robinson had 9.

Lake Marion will travel to Orangeburg Tuesday to meet Orangeburg-Wilkinson.
