A few weeks ago, Lake Marion senior guard Khalil Halls contemplated what his future would be after his high school basketball career came to an end.

The Gators' do-it-all guard may not have to wonder that much longer. During Friday night's game at home against Lake City, two assistant coaches from Savannah State watched as Halls put up 14 points including a few jumpers from long range.

The assistants from SSU seemed high on Halls and, while their priority is finding big men to play next year, one assistant expressed the need for a shooter to Lake Marion head coach Roy Brown.

The other assistant remarked that Halls' shot looked good even when he missed.  Both told Brown that they'd love to get Halls to come down for a visit.
