ST. GEORGE — The Raiders notched their second consecutive victory as Dorchester Academy took an 18-12 win from Calhoun Academy.

The Cavaliers scored the first and last touchdowns of the game but couldn’t add more points in the second and third quarters. Even though the Raiders were held scoreless in the second half, they put together an 18-6 halftime lead and held on for the win.

Stokes Brownlee, Jordan Weathers and Jacob Reeves all had rushing touchdowns for Dorchester Academy. Neither team could connect on extra-point conversions throughout the contest.

Vance Collier was the leading rusher for the Raiders, gaining 80 yards on 13 carries. Coby Berry led the defense with 9 tackles and 4 assists, while Hunter Kennedy had 6 tackles and 2 assists.

Dorchester Academy (2-3, 1-0) travels to Walterboro next Friday night to take on Colleton Prep.
