WOMEN/Denmark Tech 89, Thomasville Tech 84

The Denmark Tech women continued to roll, picking up their 12th win to improve to 12-1, behind 18 points from Latisha Purns. Kadreah Rembert and Tiyana Burwell had 13 points each, while India Lawson and Christhea Mitchell had 12 points teach. They next play Clinton Junior College Saturday in Gaffney.


MEN/Gray Military Academy 96, Denmark Tech 85

Denmark Tech slipped to 2-10 on the season with the loss. They next play Clinton Junior College Saturday in Gaffney.


James Island Christian 60, Clarendon Hall 28

The Saints fell to 0-13 on the year with the loss. Leading team was Shaneel Biyek with 9 points, while Ethan Hughes had 7 points and 5 rebounds and Wes Keller had 6 points. The Saints are back in action Friday at Jefferson Davis Academy, starting at 4 p.m.


James Island Christian 53, Clarendon Hall 31

Kaitlyn Sawyer and Sonam Kuber had 10 points each to lead the Lady Saints, who fell to 4-8 on the year. Sawyer snagged 8 rebounds and Lyndsey Fralix had 6 rebounds and 4 points.


Lake Marion 82, Andrews 62

Leading Lake Marion to the victory in their undefeated season were Jabarus Saxon with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 6 assists and Michael Rhodes with 20 points, 20 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist. Adding to the victory were Jeremy Fludd, 16 points, 16 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and Walter Shaw, 15 pointsm 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists.

Lake Marion next plays Lake City.


Clarendon Hall 30, James Island Christian 13

Clarendon Hall gained its second victory of the season behind Raj Patel with the Saints with 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Matthew Corbett added 8 points and 6 rebounds. Their record is now 2-8.


Clarendon Hall 17, Patrick Henry 7

Clarendon Hall was led by Christine Elenbark with 10 points to up their record to 1-1. They will play again on Saturday at home against Colleton Prep, starting at noon.


Howard 37, Elloree Middle 2

The girls were led in victory by Serenity Evans with 15 points and 7 steals, while Latericka Nelson had 11 pts and 10 rebounds.


Howard 51, Elloree Middle 30

The boys were led in victory by DeAndra Thompson had 18 points and 10 rebounds while Tyreek Mack had 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
