A Vine Street woman called deputies on Friday morning to report that she’s missing her wallet, which contained $4,000, according to a sheriff’s office incident report.

She told deputies that around 6:30 p.m. on the previous day, she went to pay her neighbor $10 for babysitting her child.

She then returned home and some neighbors came inside her residence.

The woman placed her wallet on the living room table and walked into another room.

When she returned to the living room, her wallet was no longer there and her neighbors were in the yard, the report said.

She told deputies she’s checked with her neighbors and searched other places and couldn’t locate her wallet.
