While plenty of uncertainty still exists, forecasters say there are early indications that The T&D Region could see some snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.

The NWS is forecasting a 30 percent chance of snow in the Orangeburg area after 8 p.m. Tuesday night and a 40 percent chance of snow Wednesday and Wednesday night.

The T&D Region experienced a rare snow event already this season. Several inches fell throughout the three-county region on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The final traces of the snow began to melt as the temperatures rose on Monday.

Colder temperatures will return to the region this weekend.

Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 51 degrees. Temperatures are going to dip to around 28 degrees at night.

Sunday will be sunny with a high around 46 degrees, with the low dropping to 25 degrees at night.

Monday is again going to be sunny with a high near 47.

Temperatures are forecast to be below normal next Tuesday through Friday. Wednesday morning's low is forecast to be 27 with a high temperature of 40. Thursday morning's low for Orangeburg is forecast to be 19.
