Orangeburg County Fair maintenance worker Anthony Keitt helps set up for the fair. He does whatever is needed at the fair. "Whatever It takes to keep it maintained,"he said.

Flood waters have forced the Orangeburg County Fair to close on Monday.

Fair Manager Rodney Barr said the fairgrounds are a watery mess.

"The fair will not take place today, but we will hopefully resume tomorrow at 11 o'clock for lunch like we normally do. It's a mess, but the main thing is the safety of the people coming," he said.

Barr added, "I want everybody to be safe. We don't want anybody to get hurt coming to the fairgrounds. We'll open back tomorrow."
