The Beulah Refuge Tabernacle Women's Council Department will sponsor a "Save Our Children Crusade" from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Beulah Refuge Tabernacle, 469 Landfill Road, Orangeburg.
The purpose of this crusade is to bring greater awareness to parents and children of the dangers and challenges they face in today's society and to equip and empower them with proper tools needed to help them avoid or resolve these situations.
Shirley McClerklin Motley will present a workshop on cyber and human trafficking. She is a certified licensed social worker for South Carolina.
There will be certified counselors and high school administrators on hand to answer questions parents and children may have.
The organizers plan to form a Save Our Children Choir consisting of all children who are present and would like to participate.
Parents are invited to bring their children and churches to bring their youth groups. Members of the community, schools, colleges and anyone interested may attend.
Light refreshments will be served.
