First John 2:14 (KJV) -- “I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.”

“Christ Jesus” is alive and doing well. According to Ephesians 2:6, He “hath raise us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places” with Him.

The work of Christ

Because of the work of Christ believers have been fortified and alerted to the Word of God. It is important to understand that after you have prayed for a specified desire, you must conclude in this manner: "in the name of Jesus Christ.” This means that you have acknowledged Him as the only one who is ... “able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). By doing so, you will recognize that there is no limit in the power of prayer when addressed to Jesus Christ or the Father in holy faith, according to His desire. This He had put in you, known as the nature of true faith.

Faith in the work

Jesus speaks of a faith in Mark 11:23 (KJV) that can move mountains, cause miracles to take place, heal bodies and use the power to accomplish great things for God. What is the purpose of faith and how can it help a person to achieve?

1) Faith produces results to those who believe.

2) Faith is not a belief in faith, but it is a faith in what God has said (Mark 11:22).

“Faith of God” in the sense of faith given by God for the miraculous that requires the response of “Faith in God” from us. Even though God is the object of true faith, Abraham believed God (not just the promise) and his faith (not God's faith) was counted unto him for righteousness based on Romans 4:3 (KJV). Believers must also focus on their faith and trust in Him fully.

The faith that was given to us to move mountains in Mark 11:23 (KJV) enables us to face a situation/circumstance (called a mountain) of impossibility for mere men but experience it moved by the power of God. Understand the mountain I am referring to is not one that you can climb, but the evil experiences of life that the enemy introduces to you, hoping that he can use this mountain to defeat you in life. Many believers have allowed a mountain to destroy their relationship with God, consequently being defeated. When the trails come, the revelation of God is needed to activate God's faith in the believer so the victory can come.

Believe to receive

Understand that faith is not humanly produced, but it is a believing faith imparted to the believer's heart by God because ... “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23). If you can believe, God gives the faith that your prayer has been heard, and the request will be granted. The uncertainty comes during the time of fulfillment, not the granting of the request.
