A man reported missing last fall may be in Orangeburg or Charleston, according to the Darlington Police Department.

Darlington Police are looking for Charles Gregory McCaskill, 44, who was last known to live at the Darlington Motel but also has a residence in Orangeburg.

One of McCaskill’s family members called law enforcement on Oct. 23, 2017 to report that she hadn’t heard from McCaskill in four weeks.

McCaskill is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 5 inches, weighing 160 pounds with brown-gray hair and blue eyes. He has a brown-gray beard and mustache.

A Darlington investigator made contact with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday in hopes of trying to locate McCaskill.

If anyone has any information about McCaskill’s whereabouts or his disappearance, they are asked to call the Darlington Police Department at 843-398-4026. Anonymous tips can be provided.
