EUTAWVILLE- Thelma Ruth Knight, of Eutawville, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018, at the home of her son in Cottageville.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Dean Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Harleyville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
Thelma was born on Nov. 15, 1929, in Harleyville, a daughter of late Arlee and Maude Weathers Knight. She graduated from Harleyville High School and was the owner of Thelma's Thrift Store. She was predeceased by siblings, Virginia K. Way, William Knight, Vickie K. Roberson, Jerome Knight; and a granddaughter, Julanne Blewer Pate.
Surviving are four sons, Terry (Cheryl) Blewer, Michael (Gwen) Blewer, Robert Blewer and Richard (Annette) Brown; grandchildren, Christina (Travis) Hallman, Terry Lee Blewer and Belinda Clark; a number of great-grandchildren; brothers, James Knight and Wallace (Dicksie) Knight, Harleyville; sisters, Mary K. Day, Frances K. Ardis, Catherine K. Reeves and Marie K. Weathers, and Dot K. Smith.
