Clyde “Levon” Baughman, 74, went home to be with our precious Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. He was the son of the late Archie Baughman and Parlen Chavis Baughman. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Elaine Chavis Baughman; four children, Sheryl Chavis, Jean Smoak, Charles Baughman and Theresa Murphy; two brothers, Lynn Baughman and Jimmy Baughman; two sisters, Janice Williams and Mary P. Chavis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family thanks all the doctors and nurses who took care of him, along with Grove Park Hospice Care.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Sunny Vista Church of God in North. Pastor Obed Perez Ortiz and Pastor Walter Gleaton will be speaking. A memorial contribution can be made to First Citizens Bank in North in Elaine Chavis Baughman’s name.
