BAMBERG -- Alice Johnson, 45, of 6105 Bethel Road, Bamberg, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at RMC in Orangeburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Cherry Grove Christian Church, Brunson, S.C. The burial will follow in the Black Cemetery, Ehrhardt, S.C.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 21, 1972, to Napoleon and Dorothy Reddish Bonaparte in Bamberg County. At an early age she joined the St. Luke United Methodist Church, Ehrhardt, and later in life joined the Cherry Grove Christian Church, Brunson, S.C., where she served faithfully as an usher and in many other capacities. Alice was a graduate of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. She worked for many years at DANA until their closing.
Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Timothy Johnson of the home; two daughters, Whitney Cordella Johnson and Vanessa Latrice Johnson of Spartanburg; two grandchildren, Armon D Tate and Ja'Nessa T Tate; special grandchildren, TyQuavin Smith and Sharmaine Miller; parents Napoleon and Dorothy Bonaparte of Bamberg; three sisters, Sally B. Crosby, Loretta B. (Ronald) Seymore, all of Bamberg, and Latasha A. Bonaparte of Dallas, Texas; a brother Caleb L. Bonaparte of Orangeburg; father-in-law Matthew (Bessie) Johnson and mother-in-law Lela Campbell.
The Carroll Mortuary of Bamberg will be in charge of the services.
