Though only the framework of this house is now visible, it will soon fulfill a family’s dream to own a home. Faithful volunteers began building the house at 920 Greenville St. last week, said Jamie Bozardt, executive director of Edisto Habitat for Humanity. It’s the 60th house Habitat’s put up in Orangeburg since 1991 and is being sponsored by Albemarle Corporation, she said. Habitat plans to build two more homes on Greenville Street in 2013, according to Bozardt. She says Habitat welcomes both skilled and unskilled volunteers. Call 803-536-2300 for more information.
