Dr. Sandra Davis has been named the new vice president for Student Services at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.

President Dr. Walt A. Tobin said that Davis, who replaces longtime employee Bobbie Felder, was an outstanding candidate for the position. Felder is retiring in June.

Davis has a “track record of success throughout her career, and has the skill, ability and passion to continue the great work done in the student services area under Bobbie Felder’s leadership,” he said.

Davis, currently the financial aid director at South Carolina State University, will officially come on board on July 1, Tobin said. However, she will be on campus during June for the transition process.

Tobin noted that Davis is a graduate of OCtech and a former employee.

“It’s good to have her back at home,” he said.
