A woman said she returned to her ex-boyfriend’s Shillings Bridge Road home on Wednesday to place his food stamps card in the mailbox, according to a sheriff’s office incident report.

She said her ex-boyfriend emerged from the house and threw a candle in a jar at the woman’s windshield.

She drove to a nearby gas station to call law enforcement. She said her ex followed her there.

She told deputies that she left the vehicle unsecured when she went inside the store and her ex-boyfriend took the 2017 blue Infiniti sedan valued at $40,000, the report said.

  • A Hampton Road man called law enforcement Wednesday morning after he discovered someone burglarized his home and took electronics on Wednesday.

The following items were stolen: a 45-inch flatscreen Samsung television, a 30-inch Samsung flatscreen television, a 40-inch flatscreen Samsung television, a Microsoft Xbox gaming system with controllers and a Sony Playstation3 with one controller.

The items are valued at $3,500.

  • A Holly Hill man wanted to sell his motorcycle, not give it away.

On Wednesday morning he reported that his blue and black 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 was missing from the front yard of his Old State Road front yard where he had it displayed for sale.

The motorcycle is valued at $4,000.
