A woman said she returned to her ex-boyfriend’s Shillings Bridge Road home on Wednesday to place his food stamps card in the mailbox, according to a sheriff’s office incident report.
She said her ex-boyfriend emerged from the house and threw a candle in a jar at the woman’s windshield.
She drove to a nearby gas station to call law enforcement. She said her ex followed her there.
She told deputies that she left the vehicle unsecured when she went inside the store and her ex-boyfriend took the 2017 blue Infiniti sedan valued at $40,000, the report said.

The motorcycle is valued at $4,000.
