A Wannamaker Street man will spend time in prison for firing a gun into a house.

Demarious Obryan Wilson, 32, pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm into a dwelling and unlawful carrying of a handgun on Friday.

Circuit Judge Ed Dickson sentenced him to 10 years in prison, suspending the sentence to five years in prison and five years of probation.

Investigators initially charged him with attempted murder in the April 3 incident.

In an unrelated case, Angela Marie Berry-Tindal, 55, of 218 Saint James Avenue, Norway, pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic violence.

Dickson sentenced her to time served.
