Sheriff’s Office

When the general manager of Yonder Field noticed a dead animal at the driveway entrance on Wednesday, she called law enforcement, according to a sheriff’s office incident report.

Deputies arrived at the Log Cabin Road site in Bowman at 1:26 p.m.

The general manager said that when she arrived at Yonder Field that morning, she saw a deceased, eyeless animal. The animal is called both a wolf and a fox in the report.

She doesn’t know who would’ve put the animal there, but noted members of the community were upset about the presence of the concert venue.

Yonder Field is working to improve security measures for the property.

She and the crew moved the animal before deputies arrived.

In an unrelated report, a Kings Road man called deputies at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday to report that someone stole his 2006 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 that had a Yamaha four-wheeler on the back of it.

He said his truck was secured at the time it was stolen.

The value of the stolen property is $25,000.
