A 24-year-old Columbia woman died Wednesday morning in a collision on Highway 33 north of Orangeburg, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

It occurred as the driver of 2009 Honda was traveling south, crossed the center line and ran into a tractor-trailer driven by a Neeses man. The driver of the Honda, Latoya Abraham, died at the scene.

Grover Hutto, the 76-year-old tractor-trailer driver, was taken to the Regional Medical Center with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Well said TaxPayer! We have to have and use vehicles; we don't have to have and use guns.

This really isn't the story to try and make a political point, truth. Don't you have any decorum? But, since you brought it up... I think I should point out to you that people that die on the highways, usually die from ACCIDENTS. People that die by guns are usually MURDERED. See the difference? (rolling eyes)

    Prayers to the family.

And, some posters do not know that more people die on the higheay than by people with guns.
