Someone robbed the Shell gas station on Chestnut Street on Jan. 1 between 11:20 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

The cashier told deputies someone entered the business, walked behind the cash register, pushed the victim, took money and left the store.

The incident remains under investigation.

In other reports:

• Someone stole a 1994 Honda Accord from a Chanticleer Road resident sometime between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

• An employee of the Enterprise Rent-a-Car office on St. Matthews Road reported Wednesday that someone failed to return a rental vehicle.

• Deputies responded to an accident involving a S.C. Highway Patrol vehicle on Binnicker Bridge Road at 3 p.m. Thursday.

• Someone stole several items from a vehicle on Copper Road.

The following items were reported stolen on Thursday: a laptop computer, a portable DVD player and a duffle bag.

• A Springfield man called deputies to his Beachwood Road residence on Thursday to report that someone burglarized his workshop sometime between 9 a.m. on Jan. 1 and noon Thursday.

• The burglar took miscellaneous tools and lawn equipment valued more than $1,000.
