ORANGEBURG OUT OF THE PAST

Orangeburg High School, 1963: Orangeburg High School needed to expand the number of classrooms due to the post war baby boom. This aerial view shows the construction "E Corridor" which would contain five new classrooms and a locker area so students wouldn't have to carry around all their books all day nor carry all of them home at night. Today this school location is known as Clark Middle School.
