The Orangeburg Part-Time Players’ 2018 season is full of rib-tickling fun sure to please everyone.
Three shows are scheduled at the BlueBird Theatre through November:
- “Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner,” by Pat Cook, is scheduled for March 22-25.
The play features three geriatric sisters who love to talk and their new roommate – a nurse with a secret. The heartwarming piece is loaded with wisecracks and one-liners that keep the laughter flowing.
- “Happily Ever Once Upon,” by Virginia Kidd, is slated for June 7-10.
After 20 years of marriage, Cinderella and Prince Charming have some problems. The Enchanted Kingdom may never be the same as a cast of fairy-tale characters works through their difficulties in hilarious fashion.
- “The Addams Family,” by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice,” is planned for Nov. 15-18.
All grown up, Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has fallen in love with a sweet, smart man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
