ST. MATTHEWS - Sunny Plain Antique Power Association is inviting everyone to attend its 11th annual Spring Planters Daze this weekend, April 8-10.

The festivities will take place at the association's track just off Highway 176, eight miles west of St. Matthews.

The weekend will be filled with activities and games for the entire family. Food vendors will be set up on the grounds.

Practice for the antique tractor and lawn mower pulls will begin at 6 p.m. Friday.

Saturday morning's events will begin early with a swap meet and yard sale. The opening ceremony will be at 11:15 a.m., followed by the Parade of Power at 11:30. The Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull will be held at noon, and the Antique Tractor Pull will begin at 12:30 p.m.

On tap at 7 p.m. Saturday will be a performance by the Praise Team Singers.

Sunday morning's activities will begin with a 10:30 a.m. worship service, followed by a lawn mower pull at 1 p.m. This year, there will be several participants from out of state, which should make for some exciting competition.

Camping and trackside parking are available. Admission is $5.
