ROWESVILLE — What better place or time to kick off Christmas than on a chilly evening under the Cattle Creek Campground Tabernacle near Rowesville?

Candlelight will warm every heart as family and friends welcome the Christmas season singing carols and enjoying the atmosphere of a simpler time beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. The celebration will feature festive songs and messages about Jesus’ birth.

The evening will conclude with an old-fashioned holiday social featuring sweet treats and warm beverages at tent #36, decorated by Tom Jennings. Bundle up warm and bring a joyful heart.
