ALLENDALE — The Allendale County African-American Culture Center will hold its annual Black History Celebration at 6 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the James Brandt Building.
The theme for this year’s event is “Making Great History Everyday.” Admission is $5.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Walter Tobin Sr., interim superintendent of Allendale County Schools and chairman of the South Carolina State University Board of Trustees.
The celebration will also feature performances by the Allendale-Fairfax Middle and High School Band.
