The fun-filled 52nd Annual Governor's Frog Jump and International Egg Strike is right around the corner.
Kicking off the year's activities in Springfield will be the Cow Drop in Frog Jump Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 29.
The festival will continue from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30, with Bingo, followed by a street dance from 8-10:30 p.m. Curfew will be in effect at 11 p.m.
Carnival rides will open on Saturday, March 31, and run throughout the day. The T-shirt booth and Country Store will open at the gazebo at 8 a.m., and Arts and Crafts will open at 9 a.m.
Entries for the Frog Jump Parade are scheduled to line up between 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Springfield Softball Field. The parade will get under way at 11 a.m.
A children’s Easter Egg Hunt is next up at 12 p.m. at Springfield Methodist Church.
Egg Strike registration will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at the entrance to Frog Jump Arena.
Following the Easter Egg Hunt, the High Steppin' Cloggers, directed by Celeste Smith, will perform at 12:45 p.m. at Frog Jump Arena.
The International Egg Strike Contest will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the same location.
The Governor's Frog Jump competition will leap into action beginning at 2:30 p.m. in Frog Jump Arena.
Entertainment on Saturday evening will include Ryan Trotti performing at the Cotton Platform from 7 to 9 p.m. Curfew will begin at 10 p.m.
