Benefit Golf Tournament
The Wesley Christian School Benefit Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 23 at Hillcrest Golf Club.
There are still openings for golfers, 4-person golf teams and hole sponsors for the captain's choice tournament.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the tournament shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin winners.
Lunch and awards presentations will be provided for participating golfers once play is completed.

Academy basketball camp
Lefty Williams, a former Harlem Globetrotter, will be flying in from Los Angeles to lead an Orangeburg Christian Academy basketball camp for youth ages 8-18 on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The camp will be held at the Jonas T. Kennedy Center gym, located on the campus of Claflin University.
There is a $75 registration fee for each student who is going to participate.
The camp is open to all boys and girls in the area.
