A Eutawville man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to strong-arm robbery.

Reginald Bryant, 20, of 13158 Old Highway 6, Eutawville, pleaded guilty in General Sessions Court this week.

He was arrested in July after a Ladson man said someone stole his car as he was waiting for his wife outside a Santee business.

The Ladson man claimed two men approached him with guns. He said he was ordered to open the trunk of his car and was then hit in the head with a gun.

He said he ran away while one of the men yelled, “Shoot him, shoot him, shoot him.” He ran into a nearby store where he called police.

Investigators said a Eutawville man reportedly tried to sell rims from the vehicle.
