Making a stand for the Constitution

For the first time in my 26-year voting history, I voted in favor of the U.S. Constitution and America’s national sovereignty by voting for none of the Republican nominees for federal office.
Don’t get me wrong, I still mostly believe in the national and state Republican platforms. But when nominees uphold neither the party platform nor the Constitution, it seems they understand no language other than votes against them.
While I’m not a single-issue voter, stands on these two key issues summarized for me who was unworthy of my vote: illegal alien amnesty and the $700 billion taxpayer-funded bailout.
Since both John McCain and Barack Obama favored amnesty and the bailout, I voted for constitutionalist Chuck Baldwin for president. Since Lindsey Graham voted for amnesty and the bailout, I voted for Bob Conley for U.S. Senate. Since Gresham Barrett flip-flopped on the bailout – first voting against it, and then voting for it – I wrote in Mike Vasovski for the CD3 U.S. House seat.
As the U.S. Constitution establishes our country’s form of government, the powers assigned to the three branches of government, and protection of our God-given freedoms, I urge you to vote for constitutionalists on Nov. 4.
