'Music Man' auditions set for Aug. 25-26
Monday, August 25, 2008Auditions for the Orangeburg Part-Time Players' production of Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man" will be held Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 25-26, at the BlueBird Theatre in downtown Orangeburg.
Principal and choral roles are available for children and adults 6 years of age and older.
Open auditions for children 6 to 16 years old will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by adult auditions beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Auditioners are encouraged, but not required, to prepare a short audition piece that doesn't include music from the show. "The Music Man" will be directed by Michael Crawford, with musical direction by Kay Crawford.
