Ed Johnson fired at 3-under 69 on Sunday to win the Hillcrest Men’s Golf Association Club Championship.

Johnson, a winner of the title multiple times, completed two days of play at 139, 5 under par.

Hillcrest pro Jake Fogle said Johnson’s success came as no surprise. He played as steady as he always has in winning again.

Dubby Martin, who was tied with Johnson after Saturday’s opening round, finished four shots back at 143 after a closing 73.

Linster Burgess was at 146 in third after a 71-75, while Lamont Green was fourth at 75-72-147.

Other scores: Steve Horton, 74-75-149; Randy Shuler, 74-76-150; Herman Belton, 77-73-150

In the senior flight, George Whitmire won with 71-74-145, followed by Frank Estes at 74-73-147. Jake McGinnis had 75-77-152 followed by John Faust at 76-78-154.

First flight winner was Phil Kennerly at 78-74-152, followed by Tim Shuler at 78-76-154 and Ronnie Williamson at 75-80-155.
