Davis is a big-time North-South runner.
He has a little shake, but is better suited at hitting seems in the defense and barreling ahead for yards. He runs upright at times, but on film displays a strong lower body.
He routinely breaks tackles. He does not have blazing speed, but is fast enough and, at times, shows a burst in the open field. Davis also has good vision, and a great set of hands.
Pelion routinely splits him out at wide receiver to get him the ball in space.
