A golf tournament will be held at Hillcrest Golf Course on July 19 to raise money for Branchville families who lost their homes during the tornado. The tournament is a captain’s choice event and will be played in two-man teams. Tee time is scheduled for 9 a.m. Pre-registration is not required, but it is recommended. Physicals to be held at North High
Any local athlete or official needing a physical may go to North High on August 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Physicals are $10 for athletes and $15 for officials. Students may only pay in cash and must have physical forms signed by their parent or guardian. For more information, you may contact Coach Mack or Coach Logan at (803) 247-2541.
Former O-W standout to hold free basketball camp
Ronnie Carr, former Orangeburg-Wilkinson and Western Carolina star, will host a one-day basketball camp at O-W on Saturday, August 9 at 9 a.m. There is no charge for the camp and everyone is encouraged to attend. There will be other former O-W athletes present to help and counsel campers. For additional information, (803) 534-6180.
Breakfast with the Ministers
Orangeburg-Wilkinson head coach Tommy Brown will host a breakfast on July 19th at 8 a.m. at his home. All local ministers are invited to attend. The purpose of the breakfast is to get the community involved in supporting the Bruins football team. For more information, call Tommy Brown at (803) 707-5173.
