EUTAWVILLE -- The Senior Missionary Auxiliary of Unity Missionary Baptist Church of Eutawville held its first Rainbow Tea on Sunday, June 29. The theme was "God's Love is Like A Rainbow -- It's Never Ending."

Presiding over the services was Sister Helen Yeadon, and a praise dance was performed by Latasha Ravenell.

Event speaker was church member Julie Wright of Cross. In her remarks, Wright said individuals should never compare themselves to others because, in doing so, they will either place themselves too high or too low.

The Rev. S.T. Nelson, pastor of the church, thanked the auxiliary for establishing the Rainbow Tea service at Unity Missionary Baptist. The president of the Senior Missionary Auxiliary is Sister Anne Laval.

The tables for the tea were decorated in the colors of the rainbow.
