
Kevin Crosby was named the new head coach of the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders after Ron Duncan vacated the position. T&D Correspondent Lisa Stokes caught up with Crosby at a B-E Booster Club meeting.
1. What are some of your main goals for the upcoming season?
“My main goal for the upcoming season is to win the region and get to the state playoffs and put our kids in the best situation to be successful in the playoffs.”
2. What is the program curently doing in anticipation of meeting those goals?
“We are now lifting weights and we are doing our offseason condition. We have about all of our kids in a spring sport. This teaches them to stay competative.”
3. Do you forsee any major challenges for the upcoming football program? If so, then what?
“I don’t see any major challenges tor the upcoming season. We are just ready to get started.”
4. How has the community
received your appointment?
“I feel that majority of the community has accepted me being appointed to this position. I would like to personally thank everyone for all that they do for the athletic programs at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School.”
5. What is the most exciting thing(s) about being the head football coach?
“Just being apart of such a special program here. The tradition will continue.”
