An SUV-type vehicle reported stolen in Berkeley County was recovered in the eastern portion of Orangeburg County last week, according to an OCSO incident report.
On May 10, deputies located a white 2004 Range Rover Discovery near Holly Hill. A check of the VIN number revealed the $18,000 vehicle had been reported stolen from Goose Creek.
The vehicle was towed to an impound yard for safekeeping while the owner was contacted. The owner was told the vehicle had suffered some smoke damage.

* A Cope man notified law enforcement Thursday after discovering some of his possessions and his former girlfriend were gone, according to an OCSO incident report.
The man said that he and his live-in girlfriend had been having trouble in their relationship. The man decided to move out. He said he then contacted a magistrate, who advised him to send the woman a certified letter of eviction.
When the man went by to check on the property Thursday, he found several items missing, including camping equipment, electronics, a book shelf and tools, the report said. The missing items are reportedly worth about $3,195.
* A Holly Hill woman reported to police Thursday that her car was vandalized after she broke down on Bass Drive.
The woman said that she left her vehicle after it stalled. When she returned around 9:55 a.m. she found someone had smashed the windows and gouged deep cuts into the body, causing about $5,000 in damage, according to an OCSO incident report.
* A Cope man contacted law enforcement Thursday when he realized someone made off with his tractor implement.
The man said that around noon, he noticed his root rake valued at about $1,500 was missing from a trailer parked at the back of his property, according to an OCSO incident report.
