Mr. and Mrs. John (Beatrice) Bonaparte, Jr., of St. Matthews, S.C., proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, LaLonda Bonaparte of St. Matthews to Henry Grant, Jr., of Orangeburg, S.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Rose) Grant, Sr., of Orangeburg.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John (Lucinda) Bonaparte, Sr.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel (Fannie) Heatley, Sr.

Miss Bonaparte is a 2004 graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. She is currently employed at Singleton Health Center.

Mr. Grant attended Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. He is currently employed by Sara Lee Bakery in Orangeburg.

The wedding is planned for November 15, 2008, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Pastor Wesley A. Brown will offficiate the ceremony.
