Shana Joy Till and Taylor Meriwether Smith, IV, both of Greenville, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ms. Sabra Romanstine Till of Orangeburg, S.C. and the late Mr. Gary L. Till, Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. (Nellie Rae) Romanstine of Orangeburg; Mrs. Betty Nicholson of Orangeburg and the late Mr. G.L. Till, Sr. of Orangeburg

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Ms. Bonnie Ann Hargrove of Walterboro, S.C. and Mr. Taylor Meriwether Smith, III. of Walterboro. He is the grandson of Mr. Taylor Meriwether Smith, Jr. of Pike Road, AL and the late Mrs. Diane Caswell Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Annie John) Hargrove of Leeds, AL.

Miss Till earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. She is the 11:00 p.m. Newscast producer for WSPA-TV, News Channel 7 in Spartanburg, S.C.

Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. He is a reporter for the Greenville Journal in Greenville.

The wedding is planned for August 2, 2008, at Wintergreen Woods in Lexington, S.C.
