Stacy Lefvendahl and Jimmy Smith, both of Orangeburg, S.C., proudly announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Larry Smoak of Cordova and the late Mrs. Elaine Smoak. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Burnie Drawdy and Ms. Olive Drawdy of Cordova and the late Mr. and Mrs. Randolph (Cecelia) Smoak of Cordova.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Ms. Sue Smith of Columbia, S.C. and Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, Sr., of N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walton Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Whaling.

Ms. Lefvendahl is currently employed by A-1 Instant Check Advance in Orangeburg.

Mr. Smith is currently employed with Devro, Inc., in Swansea, S.C.

The wedding is planned for June 14, 2008, in Folly Beach, S.C.
