Marissa Southerland, daughter of Lynwood and Yvonne Southerland of Orangeburg, has been crowned Young Miss Teen Orangeburg 2008.
Southerland will represent Orangeburg in the state pageant, where she will compete for the title of Young Miss Teen South Carolina and a share of the $38,000 in scholarships that will be awarded.
The state competition is scheduled for June 14-21 in Hartsville. The pageant finals will be broadcast by ETV on its S.C. Channel.
