Fred Hammond to lead award-winning lineup at Joyfest 2008
Thursday, May 08, 2008A powerful celebration of gospel music returns to Carowinds this year, featuring renowned artist Fred Hammond, above, as Joyfest 2008 takes place Saturday, May 24, at Carowinds' Paladium Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C. The concert will also feature Tye Tribbett, J. Moss, Marvin Sapp and Canton Jones. Christian comedian Bone Hampton will serve as emcee for the event. Joyfest is the first in a series of Christian Music festivals scheduled at Carowinds this season. Performances begin at 5 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19.99 to $44.99.
