NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Orangeburg County Notice of Public Hearing Concerning CDBG Application NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Friday February 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Orangeburg County will hold a public hearing concerning a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application to be submitted to the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Grants Administration on or around March 1, 2018. The public hearing will be held at the Orangeburg County Council Chambers, (1437 Amelia Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115). Orangeburg County is requesting approximately $1,490,000 in CDBG funds to carry out the following activities: Water Improvements for an industry located in Orangeburg County. This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject to the provisions of Orangeburg County’s Citizen Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the state of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, providing for the participation of the citizens of Orangeburg County in the planning and implementation of community and economic development projects which will involve CDBG funds. The Citizen Participation Plan is available for review at the Orangeburg County Council Chambers, (1437 Amelia Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115), during regular county operating hours.
